Every night I followed Proem Aid on Lesvos and saw as they were first into the water, dragging the boats in, collecting the kids first, ordering the pandemonium. Giving people their first experience of European soil – dignity, safety and professional care. During the 3 weeks there I became great friends with the team personally. I believe in them as rescue workers and as people.
